Position: 2 x Named Financial Advocate

Location: Norfolk

  1. North Norfolk: focused on King’s Lynn with additional work in north and north west Norfolk.
  2. Rest of Norfolk: Norwich; Great Yarmouth and east Norfolk; and south / west Norfolk

Hours: Part-time with opportunity to increase subject to growth

  1. North Norfolk: 22-25 hours per week
  2. Rest of Norfolk: 20-22 hours per week

Salary: Up to £24,535.94 pro rata per year

Working pattern: Flexible – mainly weekdays, with some evening and weekends

Financial Advocate Maddy working with person at workshopAn exciting opportunity has arisen in East Anglia for two Named Financial Advocates to act in the role of appointee and financial advocate for people with a learning disability.

The successful applicant will work as part of a national team of Advocates providing support to individuals to manage their finances and claim benefits. This will enable them to reach decisions, make informed choices and express their views, giving them more control and independence with their money.

The successful applicant must show experience and knowledge of financial services or the benefits system. It will suit people who are looking for flexible hours working from home and are able to travel around their local area.
