We are having a short delay in processing new referrals until April 2026.
We have had a lot of new referrals over the last few months, and it is important to us that we can support those new people, and everyone we currently support, really well, so that they get the personalised financial advocacy they need.
To do this, we are in the process of recruiting new Financial Advocates, as well as office team members. While we get everyone in and up to speed, we will be holding back on processing any more new referrals, so that we make sure we are ready to support people well when they do join us.
We will be happy to accept your referral from Wednesday 1st April 2026.
Please note that, once we have all the required paperwork, referrals can take 8-12 weeks before we are appointed and begin receiving benefit payments. This is due to bank and DWP processing times.
We know that many people rely on and would benefit from Dosh’s support, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this delay causes to those looking to join us. We want to make sure we give the best support to everyone to enable them to have more control and independence with their money and believe a short delay now is the best way to do this for everyone going forward. We look forward to working with you from April 2026.
