Position: Named Financial Advocate
Location: Derby and the East Midlands
Hours: 16-20 hours, with opportunity to increase subject to growth
Salary: Up to £24,535.94 per year pro rata
Working pattern: Flexible – mainly weekdays, with some evening and weekends
Deadline: Monday 15th February 2021
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the East Midlands, in particular in Derby, for a Named Financial Advocate to act in the role of appointee and financial advocate for people with a learning disability.
The successful applicant will work as part of a national team of Advocates providing support to individuals to manage their finances and claim benefits. This will enable them to reach decisions, make informed choices and express their views, giving them more control and independence with their money.
The successful applicant must show experience and knowledge of financial services or the benefits system. It will suit people who are looking for flexible hours working from home and are able to travel around their local area.
