Position: Named Financial Advocate
Location: Scottish Borders: in particular Galashiels, Kelso, Jedburgh and Hawick
The Lothians: in particular Midlothian
Some additional support elsewhere in Scotland and north east England as required
Hours: part-time (28-30 hours), with opportunity to increase subject to growth
Salary: Up to £23,821.30 per year pro rata.
Working pattern: Flexible – mainly weekdays
Deadline: Friday 29th November 2019
The successful applicant will work as part of a national team of Advocates providing support to individuals to manage their finances and claim benefits. This will enable them to reach decisions, make informed choices and express their views, giving them more control and independence with their money.
The successful applicant must show experience and knowledge of financial services or the benefits system. It will suit people who are looking for flexible hours working from home and are able to travel around Lancashire.
