Position: Named Financial Advocate

Location: Greater Manchester and Bury
Preston, Blackburn, Accrington and Burnley

Hours: full-time or part-time (20+ hours), with opportunity to increase subject to growth

Salary: Up to £23,354.22 per year pro rata.

Working pattern: Flexible – mainly weekdays, with some evening and weekends

Financial Advocate Maddy working with person at workshopAn exciting opportunity has arisen in Lancashire for a Named Financial Advocate to act in the role of appointee and financial advocate for people with a learning disability.

The successful applicant will work as part of a national team of Advocates providing support to individuals to manage their finances and claim benefits. This will enable them to reach decisions, make informed choices and express their views, giving them more control and independence with their money.

The successful applicant must show experience and knowledge of financial services or the benefits system. It will suit people who are looking for flexible hours working from home and are able to travel around Lancashire.
