Position: Named Financial Advocate

Location: Dorset: Weymouth & south Dorset, or Bournemouth and East Dorset

Location: Devon: Torquay and south Devon, or Exeter and East Devon

Hours: *Update* Part-time or full-time 16-39 hours, with opportunity to increase subject to growth

Salary: Up to £23,354.22 per year

Working pattern: Flexible – mainly weekdays, with some evening and weekends

Financial Advocate Maddy working with person at workshopAn exciting opportunity has arisen in the South West for a Named Financial Advocate to act in the role of appointee and financial advocate for people with a learning disability.

Exact hours and area will be agreed between the successful candidate(s) and Dosh to meet the needs of people supported in different local areas. This may include recruiting more than one Advocate to cover different areas.

The successful applicant will work as part of a national team of Advocates providing support to individuals to manage their finances and claim benefits. This will enable them to reach decisions, make informed choices and express their views, giving them more control and independence with their money.

The successful applicant must show experience and knowledge of financial services or the benefits system. It will suit people who are looking for flexible hours working from home and are able to travel around their local area.
